Turned in maple and rosewood from a baseball bat blank from Bell Forest products. The rosewood spacers are drilled and pegged with 3/4″ oak dowels and a lot of epoxy.

Made by cutting in half and gluing patch connectors. Outer diameter of 3″ PVC pipe is just about right for 4″ dust collector hose. It’s easy to switch vacuum targets, now.

Various stages of the process of resin infusing the cracks in a piece of punky walnut. I wish I had a bigger vaccum chamber or a flexible vacuum bag system because I’d have done a clear layer near the end. But it turned out OK.
