Blade is 1095 core with wrought iron facings and nickel sheet transition-zone. The handle is resin-stabilized bog oak and fine silver, in the shape of a coffin.

This knife has a few flaws; a slight pull-away of the blade from the front guard-piece because of the pressure of epoxy when I clamped it; also the steel in the blade has an inclusion near the tip, consisting of some 1095-series steel from the mig-weld that held the billet together while it was being forged. It’s too nice to toss but not nice enough.
